L2 Plus

Unforgettable at first sight

L2 Plus impresses with its unique design and ultra-small body size. The dimensions of this RTK receiver are just 61(L)x41(W)x120(H)mm. The weight of the L2 Plus is just 170g including its internal battery. So small and lightweight that it easily fits into your pocket or can be clipped to your mobile device for hours of work in the field. The housing of the L2 Plus is made of polymer materials, which has advantages of high strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, performing well in adverse environments.

Walking ahead in the surveying

L2 Plus incorporates both an IMU and a laser rangefinder, easily achieving centimeter-level measurement accuracy, capturing a high-precision coordinate at a remote target point. With laser measurement, surveyors can collect the coordinates of points that they cannot reach directly or which are in dangerous locations such as high voltage towers and manhole covers on busy roads, ensuring the safety of personnel.

Signal capturing expert

Empowered by a powerful signal tracking algorithm supporting 1408 channels from all currently operational satellite constellations the L2 Plus obtains a rapid, high accuracy fix. Multipath resolution and weak signal strength are no problem, even in complex environments, such as thick forest or alongside high buildings, the accuracy can be ensured.

Super Inertial Measurement Unit

The integration of an lMU and RTK is a revolutionary advancement. The L2 Plus is equipped with a new generation of lMU module as standard, with fast initialization, the IMU is calibration free and immune to magnetic interference. It’s incredible how powerful this small body is. The L2 Plus will help you to collect or stakeout accurate survey points faster and easier. Moreover, the inclination angle can be up to 120° (30° above the horizon) allowing 3D data collection of coordinates above head height.

The L2 Plus communicates with your NTRIP client or GNSS software (eg SurPro) via bluetooth. At Augview we recommend use of the open source Lefebure NTRIP client to provide a ‘mock GPS’ feed of corrected coordinates. Currently only Android operating systems are supported.
